
Margaret Dwinal is the Administrative Assistant at TechPlace, a manufacturing technology incubator for the Midcoast Regional Redevelopment Authority. In this role, Margaret supports the Director, members, and guests by providing on-site assistance with a variety of administrative tasks and facilities management. TechPlace serves as a resource hub for start-up and early-stage companies in industries such as aviation/aerospace, composites/advanced materials, CleanTech, BioTech, IT, and education. Margaret plays a key part in ensuring that these innovative businesses have the necessary operational support to thrive.
Margaret holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a Minor in Political Science from Sacred Heart University. Before joining TechPlace, she honed her customer service and multitasking skills as a bartender and waitress at Joshua’s Restaurant and Tavern. Additionally, her experience as a nanny has strengthened her organizational and time management skills, while her background as a lifeguard and in hospitality has provided her with the ability to manage diverse situations, personalities, and priorities.
With proficiency in creativity, marketing, and administrative management, Margaret has also gained valuable insights from a legal internship, broadening her understanding of the legal field. Her involvement in sports has instilled a strong sense of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance.
Margaret’s long-term career goal is to become a paralegal and eventually attend law school. She is excited to continue growing her skills in the legal field and plans to use her experience at TechPlace to support her future professional endeavors.
