Richard is the Financial Officer at Midcoast Regional Redevelopment Authority (MRRA) located at the former Naval Air Station Brunswick, now called Brunswick Landing. Some of Richard’s duties include processing of tenant invoices and receipts for leased space, electricity and water utilities, handling multi-entity accounting functions and assisting the Deputy Director/CFO with general operations.
Prior to joining the team at MRRA, Richard began his career as a Staff Auditor with Fleet Bank quickly advancing to the public accounting field joining Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. as a staff auditor. Richard broadened his accounting background migrating to private industry in textile and electrical component manufacturing. Solidifying his support of Maine traditions, he devoted twenty years as a controller for one of the largest commercial ground fishing fleets on the East Coast and managed HR and accounting functions for a company that produced carbon offset credits. Richard holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and finance from the University of Maine at Orono.
