Stacy began his career in 1983 as a heavy equipment mechanic for the Brunswick Naval Air Station, with a specialty in off-road heavy equipment. In 1990, Stacy went to work for the United States Navy as a heavy equipment mechanic at their Naval Air Station located on the island of Adak, Alaska. He returned to BNAS in 1993.
Stacy had the opportunity to become an equipment operator, a position that, in part, involved airport snow removal and mowing. Stacy worked at the airport until 2011, at which time the BNAS closed operations and the Midcoast Regional Redevelopment Authority took control of the property.
Stacy joined MRRA in 2012. In addition to serving as Airport Operations Supervisor, managing the Brunswick Executive Airport snow removal and mowing operations, Stacy also serves as MRRA’s Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
