Blue Angels’s Only Scheduled New England Show in 2021; First Brunswick Appearance Since 2017
BRUNSWICK, ME (June 9, 2021) — The Air Show Network, in partnership with Midcoast Regional Redevelopment Authority (MRRA), announced today that the U.S. Navy Blue Angels will headline The Great State of Maine Air Show at Brunswick Executive Airport (BXM) in Brunswick, ME, on Saturday, Sept. 4, and Sunday, Sept. 5. The Flight Demonstration Squadron’s only scheduled New England appearance in 2021, The Great State of Maine Air Show marks the Team’s first Brunswick appearance since August 2017. Celebrating their 75th anniversary, The Blue Angels will fly their new F-18 Super Hornet aircraft which is 25% larger than its predecessor Legacy Hornet which was retired in the fall of 2020.
