The Midcoast Regional Redevelopment Authority (MRRA) is pleased and excited to announce that it has partnered with FlightLevel Aviation (FlightLevel) to manage airport related operations at Brunswick Executive Airport (KBXM).
FlightLevel, which has been the fixed base operator (FBO) since the Navy left in 2011, has nine locations around the U.S. and has six employees in Brunswick.

The FBO has provided a multitude of aviation services since opening for business at the 1,000-acre former Naval Air Station Brunswick airfield, including fueling, hangar storage, tie-downs, de-icing, luggage handling, and other ground support amenities. FlightLevel is located at 15 Terminal Road in the same building as MRRA.
As the airport manager, FlightLevel will be in charge of airport safety above all. The airport manager is responsible for overseeing a number of operations, including interaction with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA); runway inspections and maintenance; airport security; adherence to safety procedures and airport minimum standards; communications; issuing NOTAMs (notices to airmen); snow removal operations; and weather reports.

Having worked very closely with Peter and the FlightLevel team over the same time period, we felt they were the perfect choice to continue and expand upon what Marty started. We’re confident they will do a terrific job and continue helping us grow airport related business, while ensuring safe use of its facilities.”
BXM is home to 16 aviation/aerospace business, including: Tempus Jets, Atol Avion, Precision Air, Clamar Floats, American Classic Aviation and Flying Club, When You Fly, Greisen Aerospace, bluShift Aerospace, , Maine Coastal Flight, JHM Associates, Captive Drones, UMA Aviation and Nobleheart Products. The airport has 45 based aircraft and more than 24,000 aircraft operations per year. More than $40 million has been invested in capital improvements at BXM since 2011.
