Navy and Northrop Grumman personnel prepare to lift a Littoral Combat Ship Mission Module using the new Lightweight Container Lifting Sling from Greisen Aerospace, a TechPlace company. These lifting slings safely lift the containerized Mission Modules and break down into man-portable cases for easy shipment.
Greisen Aerospace specializes in the design and manufacture of tooling and satellite ground support equipment, including innovative lifting hardware used by the aerospace and defense industries. The company shared some photos (below) of one of its new products.
