Pilots Eligible for Two Maine Lobsters or Sanford 250th Anniversary Merchandise After Flying to Five Maine Airports
The Midcoast Regional Redevelopment Authority (MRRA) is pleased to once again present the Maine Flying Trail Passport Program. Pilots may pick up a passport at participating airports and seaplane bases throughout the State of Maine.
This program is a great way to encourage pilots to visit the many airports and seaplane bases located throughout the state. Pilots are rewarded with two free lobsters after they fly into at least five participating airports and land at Brunswick Executive Airport. Pilots may also pick up a souvenir gift basket by landing at Sanford Airport. The City of Sanford is celebrating its 250th Anniversary this year! See list of available Sanford merchandise.
The program runs from the June 30th launch until November 15th, 2018. It’s free to participate. Pilots may present a completed passport to either Brunswick Executive Airport or to Sanford Seacoast Airport to collect their prizes. Proof of airport visit may be obtained by requesting stickers or Airport Manager’s signature from host airport or by submitting copies of your fuel purchase receipts from host airport’s fixed base operator.

How to participate in the Maine Flying Trail
- Fly to and land at any 5 participating airports by Nov. 1, 2018.Receive stickers or signature from airport or FBO to verify arrival. Receipts for fuel, restaurants and charts from airport can be substituted as proof of landing if unable to obtain a sticker.
- Fly to Brunswick Executive Airport with verification of airport visits by November 15, 2018 and receive a voucher for two free lobsters.
- Or fly to Sanford Airport to receive a package of City of Sanford 250th Anniversary memorabilia.
- Pilots must be PIC to receive credit. All pilots may be asked to verify their trips with their logbooks if Passport cannot be provided. Only 1 Passport redemption per pilot.
- It is strongly recommended you call ahead to FlightLevel Aviation (207.406.2081) to let them know you are coming to redeem your lobsters.
