Part of MRRA’s sustainability efforts is to reduce the reliance on fossil fuels here on the Landing and support alternative energy sources and projects that promote the use of electric vehicles. Recently, MRRA was chosen to be a grant recipient of Efficiency Maine allowing us to install 4 DC Fast Charging stations here on the Landing. In partnership with Wild Oats and Flight Deck Brewing, MRRA will be locating the charging stations in the parking lot behind these two establishments, and the plan is to have the charging stations in operation by Spring 2024. MRRA will also be installing two Level 2 charging stations— one at TechPlace and one at the airport terminal—in the Fall of 2023.
MRRA is excited to be able to offer EV charging options to visitors, residents, and employees here on the Brunswick Landing.
The ChargePoint CT4021—the model being installed here at the Landing—is part of the CT4000 series, described in the video below.
The CT4021 installed at TechPlace is nearly operational.
