12:06 PM: Power is now back and restored on Brunswick Landing
As of 5:20 this morning there is a power outage in the Cooks Corner area of Brunswick Landing. CMP will be onsite to get power back up and running as soon as possible.
It is a CMP event therefore we cannot estimate restoration. Please monitor the CMP outage page on their website.
We want to remind everyone that the connection to the New England power grid for Brunswick Landing Electric Utility (BLEU) goes through the CMP grid, so when the Cook’s Corner area of Brunswick loses power, BLEU’s grid goes down as well. If there is a power outage, we recommend checking the CMP outage map as many area outages occur within CMP’s territory, but outside of Brunswick Landing. CMP is responsible for providing BLEU with outage updates so we can pass those updates along to our customers as they come in. For outages on the Landing, we are provided updates from our line maintenance contractor, Enterprise Electric, on when we expect power to be restored.
