Brunswick Landing Public Safety Announcement
TRAFFIC NOTICE TO MOTORISTS: The Maine Legislature passed LD 97, which allows Maine DOT to establish speed limits on the campus of Brunswick Landing and allows local police the ability to enforce these traffic laws.
This law will be in effect immediately. This bill was necessary to ensure safe vehicle operations on the public roadways of Brunswick Landing, as there have been numerous instances of speeding, reckless driving and ignorance of traffic signage.
We encourage all Brunswick Landing visitors, residents, students, and employees to be courteous to other drivers, bicyclists and pedestrians utilizing the campus roads.
It’s for safety of all of us!
Accordingly, the Brunswick Police will be stepping up their patrols on the property.
